Going to Niseko soon & we want to arrange private ski lessons for our kids. Any comment on the ski school & ski rental offered by the Alpen Hotel? Or are there other better alternatives?

Thanks

My son has been with NISS for 2 years in a row. Although he did not join the private lesson but he still managed to learn from zero to now he can ski with us down form a green run in Niseko. The instructors speak good English as most of their kids are foreigner so there is no problem in communication. The only catch is you have to make it very clear to them if your child have had some basic skill already so that they would not put him/her in the wrong group.

My son loves the Milo drink which is given to them half way through the lesson so the kids can warm up again and play play play.:)

Hope this can help.

Peter is a good choice, he speak Cantonese and conduct ski lesson with heart.
The question is I am afraid he is fully booked and no more time slot.

We just came back from Niseko and we had joined the lesson of NBS too, both private and group lessons. The instructors are English speaking and very kind. Private lesson starts at 8:30 am to 10:30 while group lesson starts at 10:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm. They have afternoon and evening lessons too. My younger son was in the group lesson for snowboarding but he was the only student and had one - to - one lessons for 3 days. The ski, boots and helmuts they rent out are all brand new "Head" with good performance.
The only catch is, like happy_mum said, make sure you are in the right level- tell them your ski experience and ask which runs/lifts they would be running/using for that particular level.

Of course, Peter is the best choice. Try your luck and give him a call.

Hope you have a good time there:)
