想知Snowboard 種類?

本人玩開Ski現開始玩Snowboard, 去了兩次trips (Korea & Japan)玩Snowboard, 現已可做linking turns, 想買番塊板和其他gears(boot, bindings, etc)就唔需要再租啦:)

但見到有咁多種類嘅板, 不知到那種[arm]我, 想買塊玩幾年等技術再好時換塊更適合的, 有無人可以話我知點選, 那一種會適合我的程度呢, 謝謝:D

there are 2 major categories + 1 minority: Freeride, Freestyle and Alpine boards. Freestyle board suits for tricks, kickers, rails, boxes etc. in the park. It is shorter and softer than the other. Freeride board suits for all mountain rides. Alpine board suits for ultimate speed on mountain, in addition, it requires a pair of hard boots just like ski.

You have to think what style you are to decide which type of board. Each brand has their own characteristic and hard to say who is the best. You may take a look of 2009 Good Wood board test result, it is the most reliable test in snowboard industry.

Personally, I suggest you may avoid beginner boards and consider some intermediate models. As I am a Burton fan, my recommendations are: Custom, Uninc and Custom X. snowboard入面有三類
freeride, all terrain and park...
freeride - for alpine snowboard, very good running on the very powder snow but not that good sliding on the rail.
all terrain - it is ok to do the trick (big jump, sliding on the rail), and it is also ok on the powder snow.
park - very good sliding on the rail, big jump and crazy trick. but it is very hard to float your board on snow in very powder condition.
