IMO, for US$19,000 I am sure they are beautiful skis and probably ski great, but will they ski 18000 times better than a pair of US$1000 Head Supershapes?

I bet they don't even ski 'better' otherwise all the top WC or Olympic skiers will be using this type of skis since $19,000 is 'nothing' for a country to win a race.

This come to my mind immediately about Vertu cell phones that sells for HK$200,000 and up. Just for some people that can afford it to show off - may not even be the 'real rich'. I was told that Li Ka Shing wears Citizen watch.

What about the Honma driver with gold plate insert in the head which cost over HK$15,000 about 10 years ago - will the gold plate insert help to to hit the ball straighter and longer?

i dun think it's really noticeably better than other skis but it's for someone who can tell people he owns a pair of 19000 USD skis

It's not what you ski that matter i think, it's how well you ski with whatever ski you have

I remember first week i ski with my supervisors at Snowbird i was still waiting for my normal skis so i had to ski on a pair of 130 skis which were meant for kids . I ski Regulator Johnson (one very steep and open groom black run) right behind my supervisors

they were impressed ^_^
