- From Galleria Tower Suite hotel, can you ski to the lifts in the area of The Tower or Resort Centre? Or by shuttle bus or on foot?

- We have small kids, Is it better to stay in Galleria or The Tower?

- Any comment on Tomamu's beginner/intermediate slopes?

Thanks :)

Yes, you can ski to the Tower or the Resort Centre from Galleria. However, as the connecting piste is quite narrow and far from flat, you need the skiing level at intermediate.

I had stayed at the Tower and the Alpha before, not Galleria. The rooms at the Tower and the Alpha are quite spacious. Galleria is the most expensive.

The beginner slopes are quite flat, suitable for snow bunnies.

P.S. Tomamu does not have enough snow. It is also very cold at night. As a result, very often the pistes get icy.

I lived Tower, Villa Sport and Galleria before. Of course, Galleria is the most luxurious one. It has spa and sauna. The room is about 100 square metres, really spacious. A small drawback is that the shower room door is of transparent glass and there is no other door to block the children to get near the shower room:D.

Personally, I consider that Villa Sports is most suitable for family with small children. The room (35 sq. metres) is bigger than the Tower (25 sq. metres). It is just next to the Viz Spa House (the indoor wave pool). My son really loves the swimming pool (have artifical wave). The jacuzzi in the Spa House is really good. It helps to relax the muscle after skiing. The Ice Village is also within the walking distance of Villa Sports.

You can ski out from Galleria to the Tower. The trail is not too difficult but after arriving at the Tower, you have to go up by Lift 10 and go down through moonshine, which is an intermediate trail. For beginners, the better way would be to go to Resort Centre by shuttle.

Thanks for the info :)

Then how to get to lift 3 (green slopes) from Villa Sport?

The easiest way is travelling to Resort Centre by shuttle. Lift 3 is just next to the Resort Centre. If you ski well, an alternative way is skiing out from Villa Sport and going up the mountain by lift 2 (next to Villa Sport). Then you can go to lift 3 via Exhibition B or Naster :).

Don't worry. You can easily access the area you want to go after arrived there. Most of the staff can speak english well.

The must go area is the restuarant in the Forest. It got a stunning scenic there. It is worth that you walk through a very cold all glass covered corridor for 10 mins.

Be care it is the coolest area in Hokkaido. The lowest temperatue could be as low as -33 C.
