It snowed heavily throughout last night and also early this morning.

But at 8:30 AM this morning, it was blue sky and sunshine. Later it becomes cloudy, and now, at 3 PM, it is snowing again.

We had 1 foot of powder to ski on -- a great day !

For people who have never been to Shiga Kogen, here is a map of the area. One can ski all over since it is linked.

The red lines are lifts and the green is skiing/riding down the slopes and the blue is taking the bus. This will allow you to go all the way from Yakebitaiyama, where the Prince Hotel is, to Yokoteyama (橫手山)
