ski binding maintenance

what would be you suggestion(s) on the maintenance of ski binding during and after ski season?

I bought a pair of skis in 1990, I was still using that pair of skis in 2002, I have never service the bindings during my ownership.

Just make sure the binding is free of dust and grit after your ski trip. Also make sure it is dry before you put the skis away.

Some people suggested you release the tension on the binding by turning down the DIN setting, but personally I do not think it is necessary.:)
