Just got a present from Saso-san, '4ce - Cut the Wind'. It has some of the best ski filming, especially the slow-motion clips. There is a trailer here http://www.skijournal.co.jp/search/detail.php?ID=897

I saw the trailer of 4ce Cut the Wind from other skijournal DVD too.
The filming and editing are top class and so are the performance of the four Aces - 柏木義之、井山敬介、丸山貴雄、吉岡大輔.

GTFish - does the DVD contain any skiing instructions ? or purely the showcase of the 4 Aces' skiing?

There is hardly even one conversation. Practically all heliskiing and some very nice slow motion videography set to music. Not an instructionally video but excellent skiing.
