I think the medium of instruction should be English. So, I have a question how to understand and learn the skiing/snowboarding techniques if the oral English is not good enough.

I think we can take it as a ski trip disguised as a learning tour so that parents are more willing to pay....:D

For someone like us, I think parents will still pay for this "English" course provided that they can supervise them on the slope :D

I think it may be a good learning initiative because they want to ride on snowboard/skis again in coming winters.

The thing is that you have to pay much higher tuition at Whistler than anywhere else.:)

You mean parents to supervise who and what - the English teaching or the ski tuition?

Parents worry too much nowadays.

I guess "they can supervise them on the slope" means "the service provider can supervise them on the slope". So, the parents give the responsibility to the ski instructors for taking care of their children and they can enjoy the spare time.

For me, I supervise the slope and let the kids work on their own skiing or English. Agreed that parents are now worrying too much about the kids. In fact, they are also carring the kids too much. But that is why they are parents, that is why kids are now more difficult to be independent and survive.

How do you supervise the slope? You look after the preparation of the ski runs before the skiers arrive in the morning?
