Dear all,

I am new to alpine skiing. If I want to ski in the summer heat, the only way I think I can do is to go indoor. I found those indoor skiing venues in Japan are mainly for snowboarding, am I right ? May all the experts here share your experince of visiting indoor skiing venue in asia ? I do not have the luxury to spend much time to go skiing in the Aust/NZ.

Thank you.

The closest to Hong Kong is of course 世界之窗滑雪場 across the border. But it is a very small venue of about 80 meters in lengh. The snow is a bit icy, but not bad.

The real good one is in Beijing. They have 2 pistes one is 200 meters long and the other is 300 meters long. Snow is good.

Shanghai has one too but the snow is so bad, it is not worthwhile going.
