Hi, Jimmy

I know smith has goggle with fans. But this can install to different goggles "they said will fit 90% of the goggles in the market. So, I don't need to stick to one goggles I can change googles time to time in different style or lens goggles.

BTW you said shipping is about USD60? I didn't check with this supplier yet for shipping. I did buy someing else before I check with UPS, FEDEX they charge from USD120 to USD160 US to HK, and USD160 to USD220 US to China. Last time I am so stupid I ship to china instead HK because I want to use in china I don't want to carry them from HK to China. It was shipped on July and right now I still not cear the custom yet. It is a "Coolshirt" I want to use it on summer it keep cool while I riding my bike. Which carrier you use next time I can use it thanks.

shipping one pce of goggle from USD120 to 160?? you are rich man! ;)
ask shipper to use USPS express, it should be less than $40 per kg. alternatively, check out OneNow.com, they use DHL, first kilo + handling is around thirty.

Hope this help. :)

Hi jimmy

Actually it is not goggle I ship last time. Last time it is charge by the box size, so 2 to 4 kg are the same price.
For the anti-fog device the company is ship USPS. Ship to HK the web-site does not automatically post out the shipping charge so I don't know how much. I check ship to Canada is from USD27 to 37. since I am in Canada right now but I don't want to buy here because my friend told me I need to pay tax and go through custom and here the custom even work slower than China I don't think can stay here for few months to wait for it.

I do not have and never tried those fancy blowers for goggles, the double lens is already pretty good. But here is some tips from "Smith's Custormer Service" for preventing the goggle from fog up:

• Put them on indoor, don't take them off until you're finished skiing.
• If you go inside for lunch, shake as much of the snow off the frame as possible, then store them outdoor (yet sheltered) while you eat. If you bring snowy goggles indoor, it'll melt and water will end up between your lenses... ruining them for the day. It's almost impossible to get water out from between the lenses.
• If you fall and pack the inside of your goggles with snow, shake them dry on sight, put them on and wait. DON'T WIPE THEM!!!

Almost all the brands have no-fog coating on the inside of the inner lens, which demands special care - don't touch it when wet/fogged, or the coating will scratch. That coating will also absorb particulates over time and slowly develop an "orange peel" surface that can distort vision. You can rinse the lens under cool water for a few minutes to flush the contaminants out and restore the coating, but do not wipe or touch the coating when wet – shake or blow the water off and let it air dry.

Hi, Mike

Thanks your advice. I did what you said most of the time. But time to time I will miss use it because can't wait. Also, the coating is good for small amount of fog. If in a very cold or snowing day we have to put on the face mask. It will have large amount of steam from your breath leak from the mask direct to the goggles. If you go very fast it is still ok because the wind will clear up the goggles, but if you slow down the goggle with fog up and you can see clearly then will slow down more then the goggles fog up more and you can't see and need to stop. Then you have to remove the mask.

But this device I don't know the efficiency. This device is suck out the moist air not blow in the fresh air. So, suck out air is difficult than blow out air when move against the wind.

And DON"T wipe-out or do a face plant, because the gogglos with such devices are VERY FRAGILE.....

I think there should be some kind of spray to be applied on the goggle lens if u think the anti-fog is not functioning well?

Just want to write a report on the fans after use. First turn on the fan at home it does not feel any air sucking or blowing. So, I have doubt on it first. When I try it on when snowboarding it works. I put my mask on and bend over to adjust my boot and breath hard it only have little bit fog up. Once I get up it clear slowly about 5 sec. Then I turn off the fan and do the same test the goggle fog up in seconds.

The con for it is the workmanship. I brought 3 fans, one is very silent, and one has little noise but will not hear it when moving because the winds cover it. But one of it may be defect has loud sharp noise will hear it when moving.
