japan snowboarding vs korea snowboarding in dec 2009

I am a beginner. I want to go snowboarding for 5 days from 18/12-22/12 of 2009. here are my questions.

1. i wanted to go to yong pyong (korea). should I join fun ski tour or should I do self booking? I dont know if fun ski offer tours that starts on fridays.

2. is japan a better choice? will 5 days be enough for japan? is it going to be much more expensive? and now much more expensive (about).

3. is the snow in korea very thin in the times i wana go? and that vs. japan?

1/. Personally, if I go skiing in Korea I would join KTS Fun Ski, you'll get 2.5 days of skiing + 0.75 day of shopping. Check their website for detail.

2/. Japan is more expensive, I guess - double the cost?
Is 5 days be enough - that depends on yourself.

3/. Mid Dec is a bit early in the season, you are taking your chance if you go to Korea or even Japan 九州. Hokkaido (Niseko, Rusutsu, Furano, Kiroro etc) is safer for decent snow.
