Jimmy

Will go with few families on coming CNY, with kids from 6 to 12 years old. Would like to know more info regarding hotel booking (throughout local agent? Or directly contact the hotel?) and other tips grateful to have your advices.
Thanks

Curtis

Hi Curtis,

we booked directly with that hotel in Kitzbuhel. the hotels there offer various packages, we selected half-board which includes breakfast buffet, tea-set and dinner.

the location is good, 5 mins walk to gondola, train station and town centre.

cheers.

Good as compare with where? Do not expect light fluffy snow of Hokkaido.
It should be OK.

Yes, compare to Hokkaido. Then how about in April?

April is late season, sometimes you get fresh snow - you never know. If not, the snow cover near the village will be depleted. The snow will be slushy in the afternoon because of the strong sun.

If you like the light fluffy dry powder of Hokkaido, you should consider Colorado or Utah, instead of Europe. Snow in the Alps has a different texture.
