The buses all terminus at the Guest Service Center in Hirafu. It is walking distance to all the major hotels but it depends on the condition of the road and how much you are carrying.;)

Not necessary. In fact, I would not pre-book the ticket in advance to get yourself flexibility.

There are a few bus companies( around 3 companies as i remember) running the service during winter time. The buses departs very frequently. Somewhat like every 30 mins apart among the 3 companies, therefore you bound to be able to find the one suits you the most. They usually stop selling tickets approx. 10 mins prior to the departure. All you have to do is buy your tickets at the desk of the bus company and then board the bus. Simple! Mind you, not all services go direct to Hirafu, some services stops at Rusutu and it would be a good half an hour longer in journey time.
