I thought "Zipfit" only makes liners/inner boots, not ski boots.
If you are interested in the Zipfit inner boots, you should buy in a shop which the technican can customise the inner boots to fit your feet.

Mike, U are correct.
I always rent ski boots with all-in-one boots.
I saw some shops in Whistler could rent zipfit ski boot. As I want to buy a pair of ski boot in Vancouver instead to rent one in the coming ski tour next month. I wonder such design "outer boots and zipfit inner boot" could meet my budget of around $2000.

Assuming you are talking HK$, I doubt it very much.

Zipfit only makes inner boots / liners. So where do you find Zipfit ski boot (ski boots have outer shell)?

I have seen some shops in USA were selling Zipfit liners from US$240 to US$350 a pair depending on the model.
A decent pair of ski boots cost at least HK$2500+, and I don't mean buying in HK.
So your budget for a pair of ski boots plus a pair of Zipfit liners is a bit on the low side.
I am not a professional boot fitter and just share some experience. There are some brands to provide customized liners such as Zipfit, Intuition, and so on. Per my understanding, Zipfit is suitable for the narrow feet whereas Intuition provides more space for the wide feet. So, you may study further about the customized liners and check your foot volume before choosing the brand and model. Also, I recommend you may consider seeking advice from the professional boot fitter. FYI, a pair of customized liners (with professional service) is around HK$5,000 to 6,000.

thank you.
as I saw in the internet the boots selling in Richmond Canada cost around ca$200 ~ ca$400. but the description is quite brief and I don't know whether they belong to inner & outer or all in one boots
thank you.

MY friend in Vancouver said most of the inner liner and outer ski boots of 2008 models cost around $3000 (net $ after discount). It seems reasonable.

I know ski boots manufacturers (eg. Lange, Salomon, Rossignol, Nordica, Diabello etc) usually bring out new models every year, so shops usually sell their their stock at the end of season with a hefty discount. But liners or custom footbed don't change that much.
Note: best to try out the ski boots in a shop for good comfortablle fit before buying.

In most cases, there will be work needed for the shell. These so call heat fitted liners do not solve all the fitting problems. One still needs the fitting process to select the proper boot shape and size. Good luck
henderson (http://www.hkssa.net/member.php?u=2510), if you're coming to visit Vancouver/Whistler, why don't pay a visit to a ski shop here and have bootfitter works for you. Best is to play a visit to stillskiing (http://www.hkssa.net/member.php?u=54) who works at N.Vancouver. Maybe you don't need zipfit afterall.
I don't remember any good ski shop located at Richmond. So if your friend is referring you to SportCheck or SportMark (general sport store), I would prevent those places since the staffs aren't very educated.
Actually, I tried out zipfit liners at a Whistler's shop. My experience is that the staff is a good sale representative but not a professional boot fitter. They only sell used zipfit liners that are quite old. The liners are not suitable for me because I have typical Asian feet that are wide and high volume. Anyway, the price is around CAN$100 (tax included) so what I can expect. :)
Just come across a discussion in Epic, comparing 3 different made of liners - ZipFit, Comfortables and Intuition
