Possible, but you have to set yourself a very low expectation.

I would rather save the money for my next ski trip and make sure I go at the right months.

I did it in 2007. We were lucky to have new fresh snow at the summit. However, the lower part of mountain was 'sobert'. :p

Exactly the point: Jimmy knows what to look for and where to go even when condition is not desirable.

For beginners/early intermediates who cannot comfortably ski black/red runs at the top and are forced to ski at the slushy lower part, the trip could be a nightmare.
