As the title denotes, these are the basics for the beginners. One needs to practice and practice to groove the basics into the muscle memory and then going forward to become intermediate and advance riders.

There are plenty of advanced technique DVD's available, or to be taught by instructors or your friends.:)

Skier

When have you become a snowboarder?

There is nothing here to hint that I 'became' a snowboarder. I do not ride at all. :)

These video clips were put up by Slope8 to help beginner snowboarders.

There are still so much ground for me to improve in my skiing. As I have indicated in another thread, that I have had my CSIA Level 2 certification since 18 years ago, and I have learned a lot more over the years during required PDP's, yet it is not that easy to improve on or implement what I know in the techniques due to lack of milage :(

It is not easy to be really 'good' in skiing, but it is fun in the learning process.

There are so many different 'school' of thoughts abound with different techniques -- need to choose the ones that suit your need due to age, one's own style, and purpose.
