B2L2 - I glad that you also interested to know. I made my guess on the basis of his other video where he did put on something to identify important positions. Anyhow my guess was wrong. Here is the answer.

She races in NASTAR, and for those races they give you one of those stickers with your race number on it to put on your ski pole. She just hadn't taken it off yet.

actually i don't know what is NASTAR except that it sounds like NASDAQ. I heard many versions of races like WC, olympic, FIS, masters. What else? And how does it compare one with the others? Anyone want to share your knowledge? Thanks in advance. :)

NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) racing is a program where recreational skiers of all ages and abilities can test their skills on courses set up at resorts across the country. Times and scores are compared under a universal handicapping system similar to that used in Golf. Amateur skiers can test their skills at over 100 ski resorts in twenty-six states and Canada.
