120cm is very short for skis.

What sort of protection you want? All you need is to wrap the skis with your ski pants or other items of clothing before putting it inside the bag. ;)

The ski bag itself will get scruffed and worn out (due to rough handling by airport baggage handling staff) after couple of seasons. :(

I have 2 brand new double ski bag with wheels, but they are for long skis (upto 190cm)

You can buy a double ski bag (some with wheels) which you can put 2 pair of skis, items of clothing and your ski boot inside as well. Eg. Dakine, Oakley etc.

Not really, body weight is only one of the considerations. You can use the attached chart underneath as guideline/reference. It is however necessary to adjust the length for your ability level and aggressiveness.
