Yes, I too found the above video clip on Youtube earlier and it looked quite useful.
That's why I am interested in his lessons and see if there are any comments from others about his DVD.

Just got the sofa ski school DVD a few days ago and had a quick review.
This is a DVD with 84 mins skiing instructions by Klaus Mair with the following topics.

1. Find Your balance
2. Use your outside ski
3. Move Forward
4. Carving
5. Skiing the steeps

It brings up some good points with illustration. I especially like the section to explain the tricks how to initiate a carve turn easier. Overall, it is not bad at all.

The presentation as well as video and sound quality, however, are not as good as Warren Smith's DVD collection. Also Warren Smith's ones cover more topics, but this DVD can be treated as a good compliment.
