I snowboard but my girlfriend will be learning.
Which japanese resort has the best non-ski activities?

I be on the slope everyday to get my money's worth but if she decides snowboard/ski is not for her I like to know she can have other stuff to do.

also wheres are the bathing snow monkeys situated?

Not much to do if you don't ski/snowboard. Also, you cannot soak yourself in the water whole day.

So, if your other half does not ski, i suggest you choose one near a city (eg. Sapporro / Otaru etc.)where she can do some shopping when she gets bored. ;)

Thanks

I thought about clubmed sahoro, is there a town nearby? I'll look at the other suggestions too.

be easier if i did surfing... she can sunbath on the beach, read a book, or swim/snorkel
