More snow in Perisher Blue

More snow fell in Perisher Blue over the weekend. The wintery conditions allowed the new snowmaking system to have a full hit out, topping up the natural cover. More snow is predicted to fall in early June, just in time for the opening weekend and persistent cold conditions will keep snowmaking pumping!

I really like to see more snow in early season as I already booked ski-in ski-out accomodation at Perisher blue in late June.

That's good. I ll go to Thredbo tmr. Its still the peak in late June, isnt it? How much is your ski-in ski-out? self drive or coach transport?

Unfortunately, snow is a bit on the thin side in Thredbo, skiing is a bit limited.

Last significant snow fell on 14th June, "Friday Flat" is open at the moment. "The Cruiser" was not opened last Friday due to the cover becoming patchy and insufficient for skiing. The termperatures are however forecast to fall with further snowfalls expected soon.

Heavily snowing in the AU Alps least two days (Monday and Tuesday)...about 20cm~30cm for NSW and VIC resorts....

But i am not very happy...The snowfall just happened once I left the Perisher resort. :mad:
