They are called twin tips then. I used to have a pair of them but sold.

Twin tips are useful when you go ski backward or land backward after a jump. Otherwise, they aren't much benefit.

If you're skiing normally, control-wise they aren't much difference. Most twin tips wouldn't have a strong tail rebound when compare to normal craving skis. Stopping in twin tips is no different than normal skis.

One difference you may need to aware. Twin tips has tail raise up and not touching snows, you usually would prefer to buy twin tips of slightly longer in length (obviously still depends on model and ski design).

Why you would consider buy twin tips?
