Try to find service shops that use Winerstaiger? (German ski tune machine...in my opinion, it is THE best)
Here is a photo of Wintersteiger stone/belt grinder:

Hi all pros,

For skis, what storage postition is fine as space constrained?
Brake lock skis together and back to skis bag?
Storage on flat area or is it ok leaning against wall?

Thanks for reply these simple questions.

Ideally, the skis should be hung on a ski rack in a dry environment. But this might be a bit difficult in Hong Kong. So, lean against the wall is an undesired alternative.

Before putting them away, have the skis tuned. Leave the wax on, including the wax over the edges.

Applying vaseline on the edges - I used to do that religiously every spring before putting away my skis at end of season. I stopped doing that few years ago, because Vaseline can seep in around the edges over time and discolouring the bases, also there is a possibility that it will weaken the adhesives that hold the ski together, in particular with the older "cracked edge" constructions.

Put some wax over the edges is as easy. :)

"Stillskiing" - any comment to add?

Use rub-on wax.
In fact, any wax will do.

I tried some wax type before. liquid form takes the least effort. The solid form wax don't give me much confident that it will cover all the metal edge unless I really get into the job of rub it over many times. That's tiring. :)

rusting is my no. 1 concern. :)
If the rust is light, any of the following : emery paper; "3M Scotchbrite" or gummi stone, will get rid of the rust.

If the rust is severe, it can either be removed by filing or a stonegrind.

thanks for the guideline. Most of my skis r not too severely rusted. Only the Line pair is all covered with rust. I m not sure if its still usable. I ll see what maintenance gear I can get in the coming trip. :)
