If you have never ski in Toronto and used to ski in Japan, you have better sharpen your ski.

Other alternative is Mt. St. Louis Moonstone. Not as big as Blue Mountain and less challenging if compare to Blue but snow condition is always better and shorter waiting time. Both resorts need snow making unless there is a big dump. Last year was their worse year due to weather. I skied both places every week when I live in Toronto. The only reason why I ski in Blue is because of my Ski Club has weekly lessons there. If you had skied in Korea, it is probably same condition as Blue, I suppose.

@Mike I would definitely go to these resorts if I have a bit more time. I was looking at Lake Louis but that is not within my reach given my tight schedule. 都話玩還玩,做野還做野架啦!。。。
![]() @skimak thank you for your useful advice! now i know what to expect and won‘t be disappointed even if I need to wait... I survived High One. I will be fine! Thank you pals! |

If you happen to find time skiing on Wednesday, this company organize ski trip to private ski club, transportation is provided so you can avoid winter driving in the HWY 400. Private ski club had no lift line waiting and very relexing. http://www.skibees.ca/

If you are transitting via Vancouver, the local mountain -Cypress (1.5 hour drive from airport) isn't that bad based on what I am reading about Toronto.
Consider CX red eye flight- no time wasted. |

Holy Mike, you really know the way around. I'm from Calgary and yes, Kicking Horse and Fernie are must go. Closer to Calgary will be Sunshine Village, which is always my favorite. Forget about the east, they have nothing but bunny hills. It's so sad that it makes High One looks like Whistler.
